Planned tasks for gant chart and with MB and NM agreed resources for each task and how long each task would require. Used MS Project to create gant chart with resources. The gant chart leads us throught planning, prototype website, developing website, testing website, uploading site and final maintance. The finishing date for the project is estimated around 1.6.09.

This fortnight is my turn to be chairman so i wrote up the next agenda and emailed billy inviting him to meeting. The topics we will cover in the meeting will be Gecko Web Design logo, BDC logo, Gant Chart, Number of pages, Site Style, Fonts and Colours.

Today we had our first group meeting as Gecko Design with Billy Taggart. Present were Stuart, Niall, Martin and Billy. We discussed corporate branding and why we had opted for the company name Gecko Web Design and the importance of a strong brand image to enable us to stand out amongst our competitors. We highlighted key areas such as a strong logo that would leave an indelible mark on peoples' consciousness, and we stressed to Billy that we believe the gecko image will achieve this for us. Also discussed was communication and the steps we have taken to attain the optimum amount of communication within our group. As well as creating our own personal blogs, I created a group on Ectolearning to enable us to communicate more efficiently as a group. An account with googlemail has also been established to enable us to communicate by email with CEO Billy Taggart.

Another topic discussed was our roles within the company. We described to Billy each person's role and the measures we would take to fulfilling the criteria of our roles.

Penultimately, we discussed what we aim to achieve by the next meeting. It was established that we require three variations of the BDC logo and a gant chart exhibiting the time frame for our project.

Also discussed was the software and hardware requirements, we decided that we would be using Fireworks, Notepad++, Dreamweaver, MS Project and the possibility of using web resources such as stockphoto.com

We concluded the meeting by arranging a date for our next group meeting which will take place on Monday 23rd February 2009.

Name - with nm and mb decided group's company name to be Gecko Design after suggesting several names each and picking the best.
